#ประวัติพระอาจารย์อุทัย อุทโย

“พระครูวัชรวิหารคุณ” หรือ พระอาจารย์อุทัย อุทโย ชื่อเดิมคือ “อุทัย บัวเพชร” เกิดเมื่อวันที่ ๑๓ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๐๙ ที่บ้านมะกอกใต้ หมู่ ๓ ตำบลชัยบุรี อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพัทลุง โยมบิดาชื่อ นายผ่อง บัวเพชร โยมมารดาชื่อนางน้อย บัวเพชร ในวัยเยาว์ท่านได้ใช้ชีวิตเฉกเช่นเด็กทั่วไป โดยได้เล่าเรียนสำเร็จการศึกษาชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ ๓ จากโรงเรียนพรหมพินิตชัยบุรี อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพัทลุง ต่อมาเมื่อย่างเข้าวัยที่ต้องเกณฑ์ทหาร ท่านได้รับใช้ชาติอยู่เป็นเวลา ๒ ปี จากนั้นจึงได้สมัครเป็นทหารพรานอีกเป็นเวลา ๓ ปี

จนถึงคราหนึ่งที่ตัวท่านเองได้เข้าสู่ร่มกาสาวพัสตร์ คือ การอุปสมบทเป็นพระภิกษุ เมื่อวันที่ ๑๘ ตุลาคม ๒๕๓๕ ณ วัดวิหารสูง ตำบลชัยบุรี อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพัทลุง โดยมีพระครูสิทธิโสภณ เป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ พระครูประจักษ์วิหารคุณ เป็นพระกรรมวาจาจารย์ และพระครูคง เป็นพระอนุสาวนาจารย์ จากนั้นพระอาจารย์อุทัยได้ตั้งใจศึกษาเล่าเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมเป็นอย่างดี จวบจนสามารถสอบได้นักธรรมชั้นตรี โท เอก ในปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๐

นอกจากนี้ พระอาจารย์อุทัยยังมีความรู้ในการอ่านเขียนทั้งภาษาบาลี ภาษาขอมไทย ตลอดจนการศึกษาวิชาต่างๆ ทั้งการปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐานอย่างเข้มข้น และการศึกษาไสยเวทย์ ฝึกปฏิบัติจนเกิดความชำนาญเป็นอย่างดี ในเวลาต่อมาด้วยศรัทธาของสาธุชน ประกอบกับการทำหน้าที่ในฐานะสงฆ์ได้เป็นอย่างดี ขณะเดียวกันท่านยังเป็นพระสงฆ์ที่เคร่งครัดในพระธรรมวินัย ปฏิบัติตนอยู่ในศีลธรรม ทำให้ท่านได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้เป็นเจ้าอาวาสวัดวิหารสูง หลังจากนั้น ท่านได้พัฒนาวัดวิหารเรื่อยมา ทั้งการสร้างเสนาสนะ การบูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์วัดวิหารสูงตามลำดับจนเจริญรุ่งเรืองอย่างที่เห็นอยู่ทุกวันนี้ จึงถือได้ว่าพระอาจารย์อุทัยเป็นพระนักพัฒนาอีกท่านหนึ่งที่สาธุชนให้การยอมรับ

สำหรับด้านการฝึกฝนสรรพวิชาต่างๆนั้น พระอาจารย์อุทัยได้ศึกษากับครูบาอาจารย์หลายท่าน เช่น พระอาจารย์ปลอด วัดหัวป่า อำเภอระโนด จังหวัดสงขลา ซึ่งการศึกษาวิชาครั้งนี้ต้องใช้เวลานานกว่า ๑๐ ปี ซึ่งต้องหมั่นฝึกฝนจนเกิดความชำนาญในวิชาต่างๆ นอกจากนี้ท่านยังได้ร่ำเรียนวิชาจาก พระอาจารย์ผัน วัดทรายขวา พระอาจารย์เศียร อดีตเจ้าอาวาสวัดวิหารสูง พระอาจารย์ปาน แห่งวัดแสงอรุณ อาจารย์ผ่อง วัดแจ้ง และอื่นๆอีกหลายท่าน

ด้านสมณศักดิ์ พระอาจารย์อุทัยท่านได้รับตราตั้งเป็นเป็นพระอธิการอุทัย อุทโย เมื่อวันที่ ๑ มีนาคม ๒๕๔๑ ครั้งต่อมา เมื่อ ๑๐ ธันวาคม ๒๕๔๓ ท่านได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้เป็นเจ้าอาวาสวัดวิหารสูง ต.ชัยบุรี อ.เมือง จ.พัทลุง จากนั้นพระอาจารย์อุทัยจึงได้รับตราตั้งเป็น พระสมุท์อุทัย อุทโย และได้รับตราตั้งเป็น พระครูอุทัย อุทโย วัดวิหารสูง เมื่อ ๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๔๖ ขณะอายุได้ ๓๘ ปี พรรษาที่ ๑๑

วัตถุมงคล

ในด้านการสร้าง วัตถุมงคล นั้น เรียกว่า พระอาจารย์อุทัย วัดวิหารสูง เป็นหนึ่งใน พระเกจิอาจารย์ แดนใต้ที่ได้รับการยอมรับและเคารพศรัทธาจากสาธุชน เพราะ วัตถุมงคล ของท่านมีความเข้มขลังเป็นอันมาก มีประสบการณ์หลากหลายรุ่น

โดย วัตถุมงคล ที่ได้รับความนิยมอย่างกว้างขวาง คือ “ตะกรุด” ซึ่งทำจากแผ่นทองแดงลงยันต์ มีประสบการณ์จากผู้บูชา คือ ยิงไม่เข้า ทำให้มีสาธุชนและทหาร ตำรวจ เข้ามาขอรับตะกรุดจากท่านเป็นจำนวนมาก เพราะอานุภาพด้านแคล้วคลาด คงกระพัน ป้องกันภัยนั้นถือว่าตะกรุด ทองแดงลงยันต์ใช้ได้ผลเป็นอย่างดี ปัจจุบันยังหาเช่าบูชาได้อยู่ ในราคาที่ไม่แพงมาก แต่เปี่ยมล้นไปด้วยพุทธคุณ

“เหรียญรูปเหมือนรุ่นแรก พระอาจารย์อุทัย วัดวิหารสูง” ก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งเหรียญที่มากด้วยประสบการณ์ด้านแคล้วคลาด คุ้มครอง คงกระพัน ทำให้มีผู้นิยมบูชาจำนวนมากเช่นกัน

นอกจากนี้ยังมี วัตถุมงคล อื่นๆ ของพระอาจารย์อุทัยซึ่งเป็นที่นิยม ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ผ้ายันต์ มหากาฬนาคราช, ผ้ายันต์ พิชัยสงคราม ,ตะกรุด สายเอว ,พระหลวงพ่อทวดเนื้อว่าน รุ่นขุนพันธรักษ์ และอื่นๆอีกหลายรายการ

ในปัจจุบันเรียกว่า พระอาจารย์อุทัย วัดวิหารสูง เป็นที่ยอมรับในหลายๆด้าน ทั้งในด้านการพัฒนาวัดวาอาราม การทำนุบำรุงพระพุทธศาสนา เป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจของสาธุชน และอีกประการหนึ่งคือ ในด้านการปลุกเสกวัตถุมงคลที่เข้มขลัง เห็นได้จากประสบการณ์ในหลายๆรุ่น และไม่ว่าจะมีพิธีพุทธาภิเษกที่ใด ก็มักจะมีชื่อของพระอาจารย์อุทัยปรากฏอยู่ด้วยเสมอเนื่องจากท่านได้เล่าเรียนเวทย์อาคมจากหลากหลายครูบาอาจารย์ และหมั่นฝึกปฏิบัติอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งด้านวิชาอาคมและการปฏิบัติกรรมฐานเพื่อให้มีสมาธิอันแน่วแน่ ซึ่งจะส่งผลต่อการปลุกเสก วัตถุมงคล ที่เข้มขลัง จึงไม่แปลกว่า วัตถุมงคลที่ท่านได้ปลุกเสกในแต่ละรุ่น เกิดอานุภาพประสบการณ์แก่ผู้บูชาอย่างแท้จริง
